Usually in music shows all idols use heavy back track, blackpink is just as guilty of that, and there is nothing wrong with it because they have to or else they could damage their voices. This performance is 100% live, there is almost no backtrack so blackpink is definitely a step ahead than the majority of girlgroups in terms of actually being capable of singing live.

Her voice is still SO underrated when it comes to blackpink... probably to keep her from getting more hate than she does .. but in western music I feel like the chorus is almost entirely sung by the whole group... maybe every once in awhile it’s switched up but being from the US I never paid that close attention to the voices in the chorus bc on the studio stuff a lot of the time it’s a blend of voices so I assumed it was all the girls voices... but finally when I saw blackpink live for the first time I realized that it’s usually just two girls singing the same part once... back to back or split from one chorus to the other. When I started watching them live I noticed how many choruses are jennie and rose... not in all of them but just way more than I noticed before. Her voice has gotten so much more stable and they let her sing in her natural tone a bit more which is a bit deeper and tends to be when it’s the smoothest. But yeh she’s got an amazing voice that’s so strong... but a lot of blinks just don’t want that to be true. Either way I just watched their livestream concert and Jennie was incredible... all the girls were.. one they were gorgeous and jisoo sang a new solo cover song and looked like a damn queen singing staring in to the camera about to rip my soul out...Lisa did like a full singing/rapping/dancing stage that was amazing!!! Rose did her new b side track which was absolutely rose and just gorgeous and Jennie did solo but with the additional presong dance, but she wrote this whole new long crazy rap full of bars on bars on bars.... And then more dancing... it was insane!!! They did this wild stage for ddu du ddu du that had literal fire and they were dancing in puddles of water with all these male dancers around them and stuff... it was insane!! Hope you got to see it too all of you guys! If not they’ll be out somewhere soon for sure. Can’t believe how far they’ve come

Jax Magic Jisoo has the least amount of lines and the easiest ones as well though.. and they usually put the voice track quite loud in her parts, you can barely hear her voice and talent :/

Tồ Tân You can’t say it’s “obvious”. you can’t compare her with Rosé and Jennie when they have most of the lines (and the most difficult ones). Jisoo is quite underrated. She barely gets to sing and they always put her backing vocals too loud, so comparison can’t be done. Plus, Jisoo never uses her vibrato and really easily gets out of tune. It’s sad cause she is talented but it’s like they create the songs to make Lisa, Rose and Jennie stand out and glow, but they ignore Jisoo and what she can actually do.

As we can admit, she doesn't have the best voice in the group, why can't you admit she is stable? You are using lame excuses "her part are the easiest", when , except in Boombayah, there is practically no difference in what she sings and what Rose does. You are trying to act as if you are considerate about her when in fact you are not.

1:10 Jisoo is CLEARLY hopping wearing heels. That too not just in one place. But still she's not out of breath but rather sounds EXACTLY the same as th studio ver. That is SERIOUSLY crazy. Even the world's biggest celebrated pop artists sound different to their studio versions.

At first I thought they were lip synicing because of jisoo's record-like voice. But I was wrong. Jisoo's and Chae's voice are very deep and unique. More of this perf in the future please.

Sad that they didn't add "As if this is your last" but they absolutely slayed it! Even though Jennie and Lisa were rapping I still found them super adorable. And that one part where Rose stopped singing because she started laughing 😂💕 Jisoo smiled from time to time but she seemed scared/nervous

jinsnoodles that's because singing and doing the choreography at the sime time can be extremely tiring. every time a group will perform 100% live they tone down the choreography dramatically. I also noticed that they pretty much chose the parts of the music where the girls wouldn't have to dance around as much lol

Exactly I agree. She is getting HATE for no reason. I get it her live weren't the best. But when mess up things happened in life it can affect a person. Most people don't even know what she goes through. Or what Blackpink goes through behind closed doors. I can related to Jennie getting HATE for no reason. I got a lead in my dance class performance. I got so much and even got fat shame for no reason. I hope Jennie doesn't let the hate get to her. She is so talented and has so much potential.(so does the rest of Blackpink too) She doesn't deserve the hate she gets. Every artist/idol have moments were the fall off. But I feel when she does amazing haters still get at her.
