I also noticed that they pretty much chose the parts of the music where the girls wouldn't have to dance around as much lol

Tồ Tân You can’t say it’s “obvious”. you can’t compare her with Rosé and Jennie when they have most of the lines (and the most difficult ones). Jisoo is quite underrated. She barely gets to sing and they always put her backing vocals too loud, so comparison can’t be done. Plus, Jisoo never uses her vibrato and really easily gets out of tune. It’s sad cause she is talented but it’s like they create the songs to make Lisa, Rose and Jennie stand out and glow, but they ignore Jisoo and what she can actually do.

Her voice is still SO underrated when it comes to blackpink... probably to keep her from getting more hate than she does .. but in western music I feel like the chorus is almost entirely sung by the whole group... maybe every once in awhile it’s switched up but being from the US I never paid that close attention to the voices in the chorus bc on the studio stuff a lot of the time it’s a blend of voices so I assumed it was all the girls voices... but finally when I saw blackpink live for the first time I realized that it’s usually just two girls singing the same part once... back to back or split from one chorus to the other. When I started watching them live I noticed how many choruses are jennie and rose... not in all of them but just way more than I noticed before. Her voice has gotten so much more stable and they let her sing in her natural tone a bit more which is a bit deeper and tends to be when it’s the smoothest. But yeh she’s got an amazing voice that’s so strong... but a lot of blinks just don’t want that to be true. Either way I just watched their livestream concert and Jennie was incredible... all the girls were.. one they were gorgeous and jisoo sang a new solo cover song and looked like a damn queen singing staring in to the camera about to rip my soul out...Lisa did like a full singing/rapping/dancing stage that was amazing!!! Rose did her new b side track which was absolutely rose and just gorgeous and Jennie did solo but with the additional presong dance, but she wrote this whole new long crazy rap full of bars on bars on bars.... And then more dancing... it was insane!!! They did this wild stage for ddu du ddu du that had literal fire and they were dancing in puddles of water with all these male dancers around them and stuff... it was insane!! Hope you got to see it too all of you guys! If not they’ll be out somewhere soon for sure. Can’t believe how far they’ve come
