Her Korean has likely improved a lot is part of the reason she has become more talkative versus debut. Nearly all of the foreign born idols especially the non-Korean take a good 4 to 5 years just to become technically fluent in Korean and another year or two past that to become comfortable with slang, puns, jokes, and Korean pop culture references. She's just now coming up on that point where she is feeling confident with her Korean I think.
